KCC Glassware Facility:

BLSB GLASSWARE FACILITY

The Glassware Washing Facility has two facilities one located in room 1024 Bluemle Life Sciences Building and the other located in room 453 Jefferson Alumni Hall Building.

Its main purpose is to wash, dry and sterilize our members’ glassware.

Our members are on floors 2, 3, 5,6,7,8,9,10 of the Bluemle Life Sciences Building which totals 63 laboratories.

JAH GLASSWARE FACILITY

The Glassware Facility in Jefferson Alumni Hall Building main purpose is to wash, dry and sterilize our members’ glassware.

Our members are located on the 3rd & 4th floor of the Jefferson Alumni Hall Building which totals 5 Laboratories.

The Equipment Shared Resources Website was established in 1993 to assist our members in Equipment Repairs, Medical Gas Orders, Laboratory Maintenance, Common Equipment Maintenance and Service contract request. It gives general information about new systems setup for our members like the Millipore Advantage 10 DI System, Liquid Nitrogen Cell Storage system, Dry Ice distribution locations, Liquid Nitrogen distribution locations.

GLASSWARE FACILITY:

Giving our members access to the Glassware Facility as never before, our member will now be able to keep track their glassware by emailing us of any problems. Join our Twitter account to get up to date information about the Glassware Facility and common equipment. Check to see hours of operation, staff vacation, request glassware to be washed, file complaints.

Restricted Access To Labs:

Some of our Shared Resources will be equipped with a coded lock on their doors to prevent unauthorized entrance and to track users when they enter Shared Rooms during off hours.

New to the ESR our Help Desk is a more efficient way to request help for you lab. Sign in and receive a ticket for your request you will receive a responds to your request within a few hours of placing the request.
