  Please do not put through lab equipment repairs on the Maint. Request form use Equip. Repair located in the down menu when you login.

   Members only Section:  This section will list pricing from various vendors ranging from liquid nitrogen, C02, Floor Model & Desktop Centrifuges, Rotors etc.

  ESR Calendar Events: This will let you now when I am on vacation/out sick or if any services are made to common equipment or building services.  Put mouse over Login then click on ESR Calendar.

  Lab Signs: If you need signs outside your lab, lobby or directory please put your your mouse over login and when Lab signs pop up click on it to fill out form.

  Company List: is a database of over 100 vendors that you also can add if you would like one central place to find phone numbers.

  Floor Plan: View BLSB floorplans as well a a complete database of printable lab floorplans.

  Common Equipment: Location of all common equipment within K.C.C.  When complete you will be able to view just certain equipment.  Example by putting your cursor over the Common Equipment tab above search only for rotors, centrifuges, scintillation counters, gamma counters, freezers Etc.

304 BLSB  Common DI System

K.C.C has a new Millipore System that produces 17-18 meg Ohm water.  If your DI system breaks down or you just want to use high quality water for your experiments feel free to use as much as you need.  K.C.C DI system is not depended on house DI water to produce it’s 17-18 meg ohm water.

The common use liquid nitrogen freezer is located in room 511 BLSB.   On the left you will see a pictorial of what is currently in the liquid nitrogen freezer.  New racks has been installed increasing the LN freezer capacity to 182 boxes.  New smaller racks will soon be ordered to fill empty space in freezer and giving the freezer an additional 78 small boxes.  Total capacity will be 260 boxes.

       Each rack holds 13 boxes.

S.A.S can also rent you a freezer if your freezer breaks down and all of KCC’s backup freezers are in use.
